Dr. Judith A. Maples, MD, Vice President of Nano-Biotechnology, is a 25-year veteran in the histology and pathology in the medical field, who has recently left medical practice to lead the artificial intelligence based biotechnology programs at UHV/nanoRANCH, with a goal of putting her experience and brain in a computer, as she says. She has extensive anatomical and clinical pathology and histology experience for 30 years at Texas based Propath Corp., where she served as the medical director of Tarrant County from 2006 to 2015. Dr. Maples received her MD in 1994 from University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, TX; and did her post graduate training in anatomical and surgical pathology at the Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, where she served as the Chief Resident during 1999-2000. She is board certified in anatomical and surgical pathology, and is member of College of American Pathologists, American Society of Clinical Pathologists and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
